IRUBO is a culture and party collective from Zurich. Together with Stefanie Lechthaler, I do the graphic design work for all of their events, including designing flyers or animated trailers as well as creating live visuals. The work allows a lot of freedom and room for experimentation.

Tools: Cavalry, Riso Printing, After Effects

Using digital animation in Cavalry to procedurally animate colors and a worm shape, Stefanie Lechthaler and I printed a set of sixteen unique frames with Riso printers. These physical flyers were then photographed in the city and these photographs were cut to a stop motion trailer.

For this event trailer, Stefanie Lechthaler and I sculpted clay figures and scanned them using Polycam. We used Blender and Spline to create interesting 3D compositions and animations.
